Garibaldi, anyone?

 It's The Mother's birthday on Monday, and Inexcuseable and I have tasked ourselves with providing food for her afternoon tea party. Before we brave the shops, I wanted to have a hunt around Castlette DeVice to see what we have in stock, so as not to waste money on duplicating things.
 This is what I've come up with so far:

 Hmmm... Missing a few bits and bobs, but at least we'll save some money. Because of the organising etc, we won't be around much this bank holiday weekend, so we'll see you in two or three days.

 Happy weekend all!

  2. Deep fried or stir fried bugs are delicious with the right seasonings. Just remember to remove the legs & antennae & wings first--those are the rough, indigestible parts. Frog legs are best when fried like chicken!

    At least the bugs & frogs are not doing much harm to the place. They all look quite fitting in their spaces. I've recently had an unpleasant encounter with some overzealous bugs that were pests in the plants--I was at once reminded of the challenges they posed & that they were doing what they do naturally, which totally messes up my plans. After some serious undertaking, the pests are gone, but they left some damage to my original plans & goals, which have now been altered to adapt to the challenges.

    Happy Birthday to the Mother!

  3. That's fine shot of the spidey!Well, all are good shots.
    I hope you have a scrumptious birthday tea, with lashings of lemonade (which makes me think of Kaz).
    Now...I'll go back to my Yellow Fellow who's binding some leaves together to make a cocoon.

  4. Our garden, too, is full of wondrous multi-legged beasties just waiting to be rolled in batter, fried and served up on toast. Not much meat on an ant, however. Jx

  6. Round about the cauldron go;
    In the poison'd entrails throw.
    Toad, that under cold stone
    Days and nights has thirty-one
    Swelter'd venom sleeping got,
    Boil thou first i' the charmed pot.

    Double, double toil and trouble;
    Fire burn, and cauldron bubble.

    Have a wonderful party!
